Step Back, Doors Closing

During 2020, like many others, I was stuck at home so I went on a mission to challenge myself creatively. Drawing inspiration from my local area and longing for those random adventures in the city, I used the DC Metro train to create art in motion.

I incorporated elements such as audio of Metro stations and even changed some signage to reflect local vernacular, capturing the area’s culture. This was a fun way to virtually experience a piece of what I missed.
